Maysville Rotary Site is LIVE!
I’d like to take this time to announce that The Rotary Club of Maysville has a new website. It features all our club history, photos, events, forms to download for club use, and the latest news from our club. This is a first for Maysville Rotary and we are extremely excited about it. But wait, there is more…..
Since 2000, my good friend Amit Karmakar in Australia gave me, what he calls, a little surprise yesterday morning. I had tried my hand in doing the technical part of the site, which isn’t my expertise at all, but didn’t want to put more burden on Amit by asking him to do this site for me. I finally had to ask him to help upload some of the videos and he said he would look into it. LITTLE DID I KNOW, BUT HE WAS REDESIGNING THE WHOLE SITE AS A GIFT FOR ME. I have never been so touched in my life. Amit is rushed off his feet most days and does so much at work and for others, that I just couldn’t believe my eyes.
Well, he claims that I do for others so much that he wanted to give something back to me but I think that is the other way around. Amit has the biggest heart of all and the support, encouragement, friendship and love he has shown me over the years has been my constant source of strength. Words cannot express the gratitude and apprectiation I am feeling. Amit knows how much I love Rotary so this gift, not just to me but to Rotary as well, is especially touching. Amit’s thankless efforts are truly from his heart and that is the most precious gift of all. Thank you my dear dear friend. Please help me let Amit know how beautiful the site is.
